Eliminate the fear of fracture associated with crown-down systems and the typical shortcomings of the step-back process. Unlike rotary, reciprocation prevents binding, by engaging dentin only during clockwise rotation. Counterclockwise rotation disengages from the dentin. Excessive force is never needed.
